Scotland’s favourite Massage Therapy Organisation
Established in 1997
The Western School was established in 1997 and is a respected training organisation dedicated to providing quality education across the field of massage and related topics. We provide professional courses designed to meet the needs of all therapy practitioners whether they are first-time students or experienced practitioners.
The Western School aims to meet and exceed the requirements of the relevant professional bodies and the emerging standards proposed by the Government and to train competent and safe therapists in a positive, motivated, enthusiastic and enjoyable environment.
Why Choose Western School
Try before You Buy
We offer a ‘sit-in’ visit to Western School for a morning our current classes, where available. This allows you to see the lecturers in action, view the course content, ask any questions you may have and have a chat with the existing students.
Giving you Extra
First Aid basic life support is included as part of the Swedish Massage course (certificate valid for 3 years).
Upon Graduation, you can apply for membership with professional bodies such as SMTO who can offer access to block insurance for qualified Therapists.
Community of Practice
We offer ongoing support to all our Western School graduates, for life. We are happy for you to keep in contact with the school on an informal basis with any queries you may have.
